I have done some 3D art and design, here is some of my work.
Please find my final submission for the Grads in Games / Playtonic Game Jam. I participated in the Asset Challenge and created a bamboo asset. The larger bamboo can be used for platforming on the leaves, while the smaller bamboo allows players to climb the stalk to reach higher locations. I have also applied coloring and shading techniques consistent with the style seen in Yooka-Laylee.
This is an original character I created using Blender. The modeling process required a significant amount of time, as it was my first experience working on a complex 3D character model. I also designed the facial textures myself using Adobe Illustrator. Additionally, I began with a 2D model sheet prior to translating it into a 3D model.
This is a scythe I modeled using Blender. For the blade, I started with a circle, reduced the number of vertices, duplicated the remaining vertices, and joined them with faces. The handle was created using a cylinder, while two cubes with loop cuts were used at the bottom, along with two additional cubes whose vertices I extruded to form the end of the scythe. I also modified the textures to enhance the appearance of both the blade and the gem accents at the tip.
This is a 3D model of a sword cane created in Blender. The design was developed using cylinders and cubes, with the knife and extrusion tools applied to shape the blade. I utilized three cylinders, with the middle one hollowed out using the knife tool to allow the blade to pass through. The technique used for the top gem is similar to that of the Crimson Crescent, involving the knife tool and extruding end vertices. Additionally, I added realistic shading and shine to the textures of the blade, handle, and gem. The individual components of the scabbard and blade were assembled through joining, and both parts were appropriately parented for proper organization.
